SOUNDPROOF INSULATED GLASS

• 4mm x 6mm LowE soundproof insulated glass unit, ENERGY STAR® certified
• One 4mm exterior pane and one 6mm interior LowE pane
• Made of two panes of different thicknesses, which do not vibrate at the same frequency

According to STC (Sound Transmission Class) analyses, comparisons show that regular insulated glass units have a sound transmission rating of 28, while an insulated unit made of a 4mm pane and a 6mm pane achieves an STC of 33.
