Tightly sealed and waterproof, casement windows are windows with hinges that open to the outside, to the right or left. They are commonly found above kitchen sinks and offer amazing flexibility and combination possibilities.

SOUNDPROOF INSULATED GLASS UNIT

• 4mm x 6mm LowE soundproof insulated glass unit, ENERGY STAR® certified
• One 4mm exterior pane and one 6mm interior LowE pane
• Made of two panes of different thicknesses, which do not vibrate at the same frequency

According to STC (Sound Transmission Class) analyses, comparisons show that regular insulated glass units have a sound transmission rating of 28, while an insulated unit made of a 4mm pane and a 6mm pane achieves an STC of 33.
