Traditional homes, for example, go very well with classic shades like white or natural wood, while modern designs lend themselves better to dark or metallic colors, like charcoal gray.
The other elements of your facade and exterior elements, such as roofs or shutters, can influence your choice to maintain visual coherence. Finally, remember to check whether certain local regulations come into force. Unfortunately, you are forced to comply with these rules which may leave you little freedom in terms of choice.
Tiles are a very popular decorative element. It comes in various styles, in Georgian or rectangular profile and is located between the two glasses of the sealed or thermos unit.
SDL tiling allows you to reproduce the effect of the lattices of the first windows at the beginning of the colony. Nowadays, it is generally made of aluminum or PVC and can have a classic or more contemporary look, in several colors, usually white or black.
It should be noted that products without tiling or false crosspieces and fixed products are therefore favored by the new Energy Star standard.

Assa Abloy hinges used on awning and casement windows can support up to 148 lbs., well exceeding the industry standard of only 96 lbs.
Screens are always included with operable windows. Made of fiberglass wick, they can cover the entire window or not, either single or double. Screens for sash and sliding windows are installed on the exterior and are best removed for the winter. The screens on crank models can be left in place since they are installed inside.
